To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should rinse the coffee
-
machine with hot water as follows:
1.
Pour water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed the "MAX" mark
in the tank. Then, replace the water tank cover.
Please note
The appliance is fitted with a removable water tank for easy cleaning, so you can fill it with
water and then reinstall it.
2.
Insert the stainless-steel mesh filter into the portafilter (without ground coffee).
3.
Place a glass or a cup on the drip tray. Make sure the steam knob is in the off
position.
Please note
The cofee maker does not come with a container, so you have to use your own glass or cup.
4.
Plug the coffee machine into the mains socket and turn the power switch to the on
position. The power indicator light will start flashing blue. When it is steady then
you can proceed with the next step.
5.
Slide the coffee switch upwards; the machine will dispense hot water.
6.
Once the coffee maker has stopped dispensing hot water after 60 seconds, pour
the water out of the cup and clean it thoroughly. The coffee machine is now ready
for use.
Attention
The coffee maker may make noises when dispensing water for the first time. That is
completely normal, since the coffee maker is releasing the air that is inside the water pump.
After 20 seconds, this noise will stop.
