2.- INTRODUCTION:
• This transceiver is intended for use a mobile vehicle or as a fixed station using an
external DC power supply (not included).
• Please read the supplied instruction manual completely in order to know all the functions
that the transceiver incorporates and offer its maximum performance.
• Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
• The manufacturer and/or salesperson decline any responsibility for damages induced
from improper, incorrect or imprudent use of the equipment.
• This equipment is supplied in suitable packaging thus guaranteeing excellent condition
when purchasing for the user.
• Some internal manipulation, alteration or change of the characteristics of the equipment
performed by personnel other than the Technical Service, invalidates the guarantee.
• This equipment has left the distributor's warehouses in technical conditions of use to the
current legislation of the country of use. Changing these characteristics, making internal
adjustments or unauthorized modifications can make to illegal use of the equipment
constituting an infraction as well as causing interference that may harm other legally
established communications.

• If this transceiver is used without the necessary license, does not comply the legislation

3.- MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY CAUTIONS:
• Before transmitting, be sure that no have many radio stations operating in proximity to
the frequency ranges this product covers. Be careful not to cause interference when
transmitting around such radio stations.
• Vehicles are not normally protected during an electrical lightning. The manufacturer,
distributor and salesperson will not take responsibility for damage to the transceiver if it is
used during lightning.
• Do not drive while handling the transceiver for your safety; you need use hands-free
accessories. Some countries prohibit the operation of transceiver while driving a vehicle.
• Do not use this transceiver in close proximity to medical devices, it may cause
interferences.
• Keep the transceiver out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the transceiver in prohibited places (on board aircraft, in airports, in ports, or
near the operating area of wireless business stations or their repeater stations).
• The manufacturer, distributor and salesperson declines any responsibility for loss of life
and/or property due to a failure of this equipment when used to perform important tasks
like life-guarding, surveillance, and rescue or due to a failure of this product when used
with or as a part of a device made by third parties.
