5. Connect again any cable removed from the negative terminal during installation.
6. Connect the DC power cable from the battery to the transceiver.
■ Fixed station installation:
In order to use this transceiver for fixed station, you will need a separate 13.8 VDC power
supply (not included). For more information, contact with your distributor or salesperson.
The DC power supply must be able to supply the current necessary for the operation of the
transceiver.
1. Connect the DC power cable to the regulated DC power supply and ensure that the
polarities are correct. (Red: positive; Black: negative).
● Never connect the transceiver directly to an AC outlet.
● Use the supplied DC power cable to connect the transceiver to a regulated DC power
supply.
● Do not replace the DC power cable with a smaller gauge.
Notes:
- Before connecting the DC power cable to the transceiver, be sure to switch OFF
the transceiver and the DC power supply.
- Do not plug the DC power supply into a 230 VAC wall outlet until you make all
connections.
■ Replacing fuses:
If the fuse blows, determine the cause and then correct the problem. After the problem is
resolved, replace the fuse. If newly installed fuses continue to blow, disconnect the DC
power supply and contact your Technical Service for assistance.
