1. Install the mounting bracket in the vehicle.
2. Position the transceiver, fixing it with the supplied screws.
●Double check that all screws are tightened to prevent vehicle vibration from loosening the
transceiver.
Note:
- Use only the provided screws, otherwise you risk damaging the circuit board,
components or falloff of the unit.
DC POWER CABLE CONNECTION:
■ Mobile installation:
Check that the battery voltage is the same as that required by the transceiver. Be sure to
use a battery that supplies sufficient current to operate the transceiver. If the current is
insufficient, the transmitting output power may drop excessively.
1. Connect the DC power cable directly to the vehicle's battery terminals, using the
shortest path from the transceiver.
● Never use the cigarette lighter socket as a DC power source.
● The entire length of the cable must be dressed so it is isolated from heat, moisture, and
the engine secondary (high voltage) ignition system/cables.
2. After installing the DC power cable, in order to avoid the risk of damp, please use heat-
resistant tap to tie together with fuse box. Don't forget to reinforce whole cable.
3. In order to avoid the risk of short circuit, please cut down connection with negative (-) of
battery, and then connect with radio.
4. Confirm the correct polarity of the connections. Then attach the DC power cable to the
battery terminals.
- Red to the positive (+) terminal.
- Black to the negative (-) terminal.
● Never remove the fuse holder from the DC power input.
