The softener does not regenerate
automatically
The softener regenerates at the wrong time check the current time and regeneration time settings (see paragraph 4.2
Water from the brine is not sucked
the water softener does not consume salt
(there will be a salt alarm)
The brine overfills:
- If the excessive filling occurs during
the regeneration
(there will be a salt alarm)
- If the excessive filling occurs when
the machine is operating
Water softener salt consumption
is higher or lower than expected
After regeneration, water is not softened
The water softener dispenses salt water:
- If it only happens once
- If it is a recurring problem
The anti-overflow device intervened
to block the excessive flow of water

SOLUTIONS
Make sure that the equipment is connected to power supply and that the
electric card connector is inserted (vedi paragrafo 7.1)
Clean the electrodes (see paragraph 10.1 steps 7 and 8) Check that the
water level in the brine tank is above the salt grid (fig 1, E). If water level
is not too low, increase the B7 value in the EXTRA-RINSE (see par.5.5)
Clean the ejector and its filter (see paragraph 10.1 steps 4 and 5). Check that
the drain pipe is not sqeezed or clogged. Check that the softener can suck
water from the brine tank.
Make sure that the equipment is connected to power supply (fig. 10, A, B)
and that the electric card connector is inserted (fig. 9, C). Check that "F00"
is not displayed. (see paragraph 5.2.2)
and 5.3)
- make sure that the water system pressure is at least 2 bar
- check that the drain pipe is not blocked or flattened (fig. 7, A)
- clean the injector (fig. 12 A B, B) (see paragraph 10.1)
- make sure that there is no air intake where there are the quick joints (fig. 12, E)
- make sure the drain pipe isn't blocked or flattened (fig. 7 A)
- make sure that there is no air intake where there are the quick joints (fig.12,E)
- clean the injector (fig. 12 A B, B) (see paragraph 10.1)
- check that operating pressure is at least 2 bar
- make sure the selected model is correct (see paragraph 5.4)
- In case the refill time has been changed to include extra- rinse, make sure that
the duration of step B7 falls between the range values (see par. 5.5, TAB. 3)
- make sure there are no leaks between upper part and tank (fig. 1, I F)
- make sure water does not seep in the brine tank from the brine pipe (fig. 12, E)
make sure the selected model is correct (see par. 5.4). In case the refill time
has been changed to include extra
- rinse, make sure that the duration of step B7 falls between the range
values (see par. 5.5 TAB. 3)
- Check salt presence in the brine tank, in case the salt alarm is not on
(see paragraphs 5.6 and 5.6.1).
- Check correct start of the mixing screw, in case the salt alarm is on.
(fig.2, MIXER) (see paragraph 8)
this problem may be caused by a lack of hydric pressure during the rege-
neration, thus preventi correct rinsing, Start the resin rinse program (see
paragraph 7.4)
Increase by some minutes the B5 time in the EXTRA-RINSE (see paragraph
5.5, TAB. 3)
- make sure that the water system pressure is at least 2 bar
- check that the drain pipe is not blocked and does not have too narrow
elbows that flattening the pipe (fig. 7, A)
- clean the injector (fig. 12 A B, B) (see par. 10.1), "PERIODIC MAINTENANCE")
- make sure that there is no air intake where there are the quick joints (fig. 12, E)
