Aim Your Camera
Your camera has a red LED to indicate the PIR Sensor detection
coverage area and the capture area. Please follow the instructions
below to test that area:
•
After mounting the camera on a pillar or tree using the supplied
mounting strap, open the cover and then slide the switch from
the OFF position to the TEST position.
•
The word "tESt" appears on the LCD screen.
•
Walk around in front of the camera. The
red indicator LED will blink when you have
intruded the coverage area.
•
Adjust the camera position as needed and repeat testing until
the desired coverage area is achieved.
•
When you have completed testing, slide the switch from TEST to
the A, B or MAN position.
•
Now the status display will count down 60 seconds giving you
time to leave the coverage area.
NOTE: Don't forget to slide the switch from TEST to A, B or
MAN before you leave the field, otherwise the camera will not
take any pictures/videos and will power off after 5 minutes
without operation. Wake up the camera by sliding the switch
to OFF then to TEST, A, B or MAN.
