cally close fully once the trigger is pressed
• Progressive mode : the blade will move accordingly
to the position of the trigger
HOLSTER MODE
The holster mode of the pruning shears enables you
to keep the blade closed without using the switch
To enable that mode, press the trigger
it pressed for 4 seconds : a double acoustic signal will
be heard to indicate that the shears are in stand-by
mode. To resume work, press the trigger twice quickly;
the blade will move to open position (as before closing)
and it will be possible to perform a new cutting cycle.
The pruning shears will automatically switch to hol-
ster mode after 3 minutes without pressing the trigger.
After 10 minutes of inactivity, the tool will totally be
turned off.
CAUTION
This does not amount to switching off the tool, but just
helps you to store the tool in its holster. Be careful and
pay attention, because a movement (double click) of

will open the blade

briefly displays the number of cuts made since the
tool has been built in our factory. After one second,
the screen display the number of cuts made since the
last time the pruning shears was turned on.
You can also see the battery level, in percentage. This
number can fluctuate during the use and will stabilize
after few seconds of inactivity.
SHARPENING
This operation is crucial, as it determines the cut
quality and the life of the blade
and the life of the battery
depends on the wood to cut (hardness and diameter),
the cutting speed and the quality of the sharpening
tool (ALPEN sharpener recommended). That is why,
in the early days of use, it is important to regularly
check the sharpness of the blade
it whenever necessary (checking every hour will soon
give you an idea of that frequency). With intensive
pruning, daily sharpening is recommended throughout
the cutting season. Always sharpen the blade
the WILDHORN 32 is turned OFF.
CAUTION
The blade must be sharpened for the first time after
the first half hour of use. For the sharpening proce-
dure, please refer to the procedure you can find on
our official website (QR code at the beginning of this
user manual).
