Pump tube upper packing
NOTE
Remove base of air motor to access
upper packing group of pump tube.
8 Unscrew nuts from tie rods.
NOTE
Tie rods release from air motor base.
9 Remove air motor base from cylinder.
9.1 Push on piston rod to ease
disassembly.
10 Position air motor base bottom upward.
NOTE
Use internal circlip pliers to remove
circlip (11). Tension on the circlip
requires the use of truarc #0700-10 or
equivalent pliers for removal.
Failure to comply may cause damage
to components.
11 Remove circlip (11) from air motor base.
12 Remove washer (10), u-cup seal (9),
bearing (8), and seal (7) from air motor
base.

Refer to Overhaul, page 9 for details.
1)
Use internal circlip pliers such as Truarc #0700-10 to remove circlip. Damage to circlip may occur.
2)
Coat inside diameter of o-ring with grease prior to assembly. Damage to o-ring can occur.
3)
Inspect valve stop to ensure proper seat in upper tube. Pump leakage will occur.
4)
Do not overtighten nut. Damage to brass guide can occur.
5)
Keep end of lower tube free from foreign material. Leakage may occur.
