The bracket must have the following markings
at least:
• The manufacturer's or supplier's name
EN
• The equipment reference
• The batch or serial number
• The EN equipment standard followed by the
year of reference
• The logo; read the instruction manual.
NOTE: If any marking goes missing, the
affected equipment must be taken out of service.
A bracket for the Tracpode PRO must comprise
at least:
• The bracket
• 1 pin connected to the bracket by means of a
cablet
• 1 safety pin connected to the bracket by means
of a cablet
• System mounting bolts on the bracket.
Inspect each side of the bracket and more
specifically check for the following damage:
• The bracket is deformed in any way
• The mounting holes are deformed in any way
• The pin or safety pin are deformed in any way
or absent
• There is any corrosion.
NOTE: If one of the above types of
damage occurs, this does not necessarily mean
the equipment is to be decommissioned, but
the device must not be used until it has been
repaired by Tractel or an authorised repairer.
13. Service life
To ensure safe and effective use of this product,
it is mandatory to follow these guidelines:
Use the product strictly according to the
instructions provided in this manual.
Have a competent person perform an ASI at
least every 12 months to confirm it is still safe
to use, and get written confirmation of its fitness
for use.
Store and transport the product in accordance
with the instructions in this manual.
Providing that these guidelines are strictly
followed, the product will have no end of

service life date. If the product includes textile
components, these
replaced after a maximum of 20 years from their
date of manufacture.
As a general rule and subject to implementing
the conditions for use stated above, their service
life may exceed 10 years.
14. Disposal
When disposing of the product, the various
components must be recycled by separating and
sorting metal and synthetic components. These
materials must be recycled through specialist
organisations. During disposal, dismantling to
separate components should be achieved by a
duly trained person.
