WARNING!
•
DO NOT use the sprayer for purposes other than
spraying agrochemicals approved by competent
authorities.
Always consider the following recommendations:
•
Check the sprayer before spraying. Ensure there
are no leaks or missing parts. Do not use the sprayer
if it is not in good condition.
•
Do not eat, drink, or smoke while spraying. Serious
risk of poisoning.
•
Do not mix chemical products unless recom-
mended by the manufacturer. Intense chemical
reactions can occur.
•
Read the labels of chemical products carefully.
Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
•
High pressure is present at the end of the spray
lance and inside the sprayer base. Turn off the
sprayer entirely and release pressure before attempt-
ing to repair or replace parts of the sprayer.
•
Do not direct the spray jet towards bystanders.
The jet spray may be toxic.
•
After using herbicides, always clean the equip-
ment before using other chemical products.
•
Wear individual protection equipment. Wear
gloves, safety glasses, a safety mask, and protective
clothing.
•
Clean yourself after spraying. Take a shower with
plenty of soap and water. Put on clean clothes.
•
Wash clothing worn during spray applications
separately from other clothes of ordinary use.
•
Keep chemical products out of reach of children
and animals. Lock up the chemical products to pre-
vent untrained persons from handling them.
•
In case of intoxication, see a doctor immediately.
Show them the chemical manufacturer's label.
•
Dispose of chemical containers properly. Observe
your local regulatory agency recommendations and
follow the manufacturer's disposal instructions.
•
Do not pollute the environment.
•
During vehicle transport, turn off and secure the
sprayer. Always keep the trigger valve shut during
transport and when not using the sprayer.
7.1. Empty agrochemical container triple rinse
NOTE: Even empty containers contain chemical residues. Therefore, discarding the
containers without washing out the residues is extremely dangerous to humans,
animals, and the environment. To remove the residues completely, rinse each met-
al, plastic, and glass chemical container three times. This manual describes how to
do the triple rinse correctly, safely, and effectively.
1.
Immediately after emptying the container, you must keep it with the
mouthpiece upside down over the sprayer tank opening or over the
bucket you are using to prepare the chemical mixture for at least 30 sec-
onds until no residue is in the container and when the drops are falling
in long intervals.
2.
Hold the container upright and fill it with water up to 1/4. For example,
add 250 ml of water to a 1000 ml container.
3.
Install the container cap and tighten it enough to avoid leakage during
the agitation.
4.
Agitate the container vigorously in all directions (horizontal and vertical)
for approximately 30 seconds to remove the residues from its internal
walls.
5.
Take the container cap off and carefully pour the rinse water into the spray
tank.
6.
Hold the container over the spray tank opening for approximately 30 sec-
onds to the last drop.
7.
Repeat this operation two more times to complete the triple rinse.
8.
Pierce the container bottom with a pointed instrument to render the
plastic and metallic containers useless. This way, their labels will not be
damaged for identification purposes.
8. Preparing for use
8.1. Unpacking
Make sure the following components are in the box:

2
1.
Spray tank;
2.
Charger;
3.
Battery;
4.
Spray lance;
5.
Trigger valve with hose;
6.
Operator's manual;
7.
Shoulder harness;
8.2. Assembling the lance to the trigger valve
As shown in the image below, fit the lance into the trigger valve and thread it
enough to prevent leaks:
WARNING!
Do not overtighten the parts.
9. Operating Instructions
The following steps describe how to use the sprayer safely.
9.1. Choosing the nozzle type
Our sprayers are compatible with all ISO-certified nozzles or hydraulic tips. Each
nozzle offers a range of options and specifications for product application, so
knowing how to choose the proper nozzle for your equipment is essential. See the
table below to identify which nozzle best suits flow rate and droplet size.
NOTE: The following nozzles are optional. THEY ARE NOT SOLD WITH THE SPRAYER.
