B1.5 Electrical checks after installation
After connecting the filter to the power supply two leds (green and yellow) placed frontally on the filter
white cover, light up; the device carries out a test cleaning cycle after which the yellow led goes off
whereas the green one stays on. The filter is not working.
After this stage, verify that the circuit is functioning pressing manually the black button placed frontally
between the leds, until the yellow one lights; the filter carries out a washing cycle; at the end, the yellow
led will flash for two minutes then it will turn off. The filter is working and the green led stays on. Verify
the proper functioning of the possibly installed backwash solenoid valve (optional). It should be in closing
position during backwashing operations carried out by the filter and in opening position when the filter is
working.
B1.6 Hydraulic checks after installation
After opening the water upstream of the equipment check for leaks;
1)
Verify that the equipment is correctly positioned in order to ease ordinary maintenance.
2)
Check for the presence of a by-pass circuit allowing to exclude the filter from serving and check for
the presence of sampling faucets installed upstream and downstream the filter.
3)
Check for the compliances of the installation with all local rules or recommendations issued by the
competent local area offices.
4)
Verify that there are no leaks from the entrance and exit connections and from the filter
drain connection.
In case of doubt please contact Acqua Brevetti s.r.l. (Tel. +39.(0)49.8973432, e-mail: info@acquabrevetti.it).
B1.7 Allowed installation schemes
It is necessary to install the filter according to the water flow direction indicated by the arrow stamped on
the brass head of the filter (enter from the left, exit from the right). In case the filter was requested to
have the entrance from the right and the exit from the left it is necessary to request it during the order.
Any other configuration may affect the proper functioning of the filter. The filter discharge connection
must be diverted in an open drain. In case of doubt please contact Acqua Brevetti s.r.l. (Tel.:
+39.(0)49.8973432 or send an e mail to info@acquabrevetti.it).
1.8 Backwashing solenoid valve installation (optional)
In order to realize effective cleaning cycles at least 2 bar pressure are requested during cleaning operations.
In case it was not like that it is possible to use a shut off valve placed downstream
of the filter, EVC backwashing solenoid valves are available (see par. A 1.12). The
closing solenoid valve should be installed on the outlet connection of the filter (see
detail 11 in the installation scheme B 2.2).
used, in turn, to feed some loads ( e.g. solenoid valves, electrical motors, alarms, etc.).
In order to manage the closing solenoid valve the constructor makes available the optional control board
(cod. 23022030) (see detail 12 of the example B in the installation scheme).
