5. Installation and use of the car seat in the vehicle
5.1. Installation of child safety seat (height 40-105 cm)
This product is suitable for children with height: 40-105cm, rearward facing
installation.
Step1: place the product in the car, then according to paragraph 4.8. and 4.9. in
this manual, adjust the car seat into the most reclining position, then rotate the
product into a rear-facing position.
Step2: mount the isofix according to paragraphs 4.6. and 4.7., paying attention
that the isofix display is green, then push the car seat towards the backrest of
the vehicle's seat. Use the 5-point seat belt to secure the child in the car seat.
Step3: According to 4.4 and 4.5, first loosen the buckle and shoulder strap, put
the child into the child safety seat, and then buckle up and pull tight shoulder
strap, refer to 4.2 and 4.3 to check the shoulder strap and head height.
Attention: make sure the seat belt is not twisted.
Step4: Take the top tether and if required, lengthen the belt by pressing the top
tether button to release the strap, pulling to adjust as necessary(fig.1). Attach
the top tether hook to the top tether anchorage point which is recommended in
the owner's manual of your car(fig.2). The top tether will be properly tightened
when the tension indicator turns completely green.
5.2. Installation of child safety seat (height 76-105 cm)
This product is suitable for children with height: 76-105 cm in a forward-facing
position.
Step 1: mount the isofix according to paragraphs 4.6. and 4.7., paying attention
that the isofix display is green, then push the car seat towards the backrest of
the vehicle's seat. Use the 5-point seat belt to secure the child in the car seat.
Step2: take the top tether and if required, lengthen the belt by pressing the top
tether button to release the strap, pulling to adjust as necessary(fig.1). Attach
the top tether hook to the top tether anchorage point which is recommended in
the owner's manual of your car(fig.2). The top tether will be properly tightened
when the tension indicator turns completely green.
Step3: according to the steps indicated at paragraphs 4.4. si 4.5. loosen the
buckle and shoulder straps, place the child in the car seat and adjust the length
of the shoulder straps according to his body. Adjust the headrest into a suitable
position according to the steps described at paragraphs 4.2. and 4.3.
5.3. Installation of child safety seat (height 100-150 cm)
This product is suitable for children with height: 100-150 cm in a forward-facing
position.
Remove the harness system and buckle, hide the whole buckle in the hole on
the base which is under the cover.
Step 1: Adjust the child safety seat to the most upright position.
Step 2: Insert the isofix to the isofix connector on your car. Make sure that the
isofix display indicator is green. Then push the car seat towards the backrest of
the vehicle's seat.
Step 3: Place your child into the car seat and secure him with 3-point safety belt.
