5.4. Removing the car seat's safety belt and buckle
Step 1: Loose the belt system, follow the illustration in image 4.5.
Step2: Pull the belt system out of their metal brackets on the back side of the
child car seat, guide these through the child car seat to the front side. (Figure
1,2,3,4)
Step 3: Remove the shoulder pads and buckle tongues. Put the shoulder straps
under the cover. (Figure 6)
Step 4: As per figure 8 below, first adjust the child car seat to the most reclined
position, then take off the plastic cover.
Step 5: As shown in figure 7, remove the metal clip from the hole and remove
the buckle. Insert buckle tongues into buckle and put them in a safe place.
Step 6: Remove mattress and crotch pad. (Figure 5)
6. Removing and putting back the seat cover
1. according to the steps described at paragraph 5.4. remove the shoulder
straps and shoulder pads.
2. remove the new born inlay and small headrest.
3. start removing the seat cover from the plastic base starting from top to
bottom. In order to put back the seat cover do the above steps in reverse order.
7. Cleaning and maintenance
7.1. Daily maintenance
1. Before every single use, make sure that the car seat has not developed any
defects and broken spare parts. In case you have been through a car accident
please remove the car seat.
2. Whenever you are not using the car seat, store it in a safe, cool and well-
ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
3. To prevent dust sedimentation on the product, wipe it regularly with a moist
sponge and then leave it out to dry naturally.
4. If you accidentally spill food or beverages on the car seat and these
sediments reach into the safety belt buckle, remove the buckle, rinse it with
warm water and then leave it to dry naturally before putting it back on.
5. If you want to wash the seat cover altogether read instructions at paragraph
7.2.
7.2. Washing instructions
1. It's forbidden to use solvents for washing the seat cover and plastic base.
2. Only wash the seat cover in hand wash or delicate washing cycle at 30
degrees with a mild detergent.
3. Do not use bleach!
4. The seat cover can by dry cleaned only if your cleaning provider doesn't use
trichloroethene.
5. It's forbidden to machine dry.
6. It is forbidden to iron the seat cover.
