Operating elements
1-58 In all these operating elements the Bauer
P8 T400 is identical with the Bauer
P8 TS universal (see Instruction Manual
P8 TS universal).
The following functional elements of the
P8 TS universal are not incorporated in
the P8 T400:
Switch 20; stop button 28, and voltage
selector 29.

Safety hints
e
The projector must be connected to a
grounded safety outlet only.
Use the original Bauer power cord only.
e Keep all ventilation openings free.
© Open the film gate cover and the lens
carrier only when the projector stands still.
Never look into the lens when the lamp is
on.
e Use only original Bauer spare lamps when
a lamp has to be exchanged.
e Exchange the lamp only when it has
cooled off and when the projector has been
disconnected. The lamp is under high ten-
sion during the ignition process.
e Use only original Bauer spare parts.
Power connection
(to be operated on AC only)
e The power requirements of your projector
are listed on the nameplate 31.
The projector is factory-adjusted for operation on
220 V/50-60 Hz.
In case your local voltage rating is 240 V, make
sure to have an expert or your Bauer service
agent carry out the switch-over.
e Connect the power cord to jack 30 and
secure it to the projection table.
