WARNING! Name of source of danger, cause of hazard or type of risk.
Consequences of non-compliance with instructions.
– Action in order to avoid danger.
Example of a warning:
DANGER! Residual energies may still be stored in the scanner, which may be unexpectedly released during
maintenance.
Death or severe personal injury due to electric shock.
– Ensure that work is carried out only by qualified personnel and avoid any method of operation that could
impair the safety of the scanner.
– Ensure that unauthorized persons cannot perform any work on the scanner.

Safety labels on the scanner
Safety labels indicating possible dangers/residual dangers are mounted on the scanner.
The safety labels on the scanner must be followed under all circumstances. If they become faded or
damaged during the scanner's lifetime, they must be replaced immediately.
Their readability and completeness must be checked at regular intervals. The moment the labels
are not immediately recognizable and understandable at first glance, the optical 3D scanner must
be taken out of operation until new labels have been attached.
The pictograms for warnings, prohibitions and commands on the scanner and their meanings:

Danger of crushing
This pictogram is located in the area of the swivel arm and is designed to warn of a possible
crushing hazard between scanner and swivel arm.

The scanner can be uniquely identified by means of its identification plate. CE mark in accordance
with:

– Low voltage directive 2014/35 EU
– RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
