Inner cutouts can be produced with a
starting hole from a diameter of min. 15 mm.
Maintenance and care
WARNING!
Remove the battery before carrying out any
work on the power tool.
Cleaning
WARNING!
When working with metals for prolonged
periods, electrically conductive dust could
build up inside the housing of the tool. This
would impair the protective isolation!
Operate the machine using an earth leakage
circuit breaker (30 mA trigger current).
Regularly clean the power tool and ventila-
tion slots. Frequency of cleaning is depend-
ent on the material and duration of use.
Regularly blow out the housing interior
and motor with dry compressed air.
Clean dust filter at regular intervals.
Remove dust filter and blow out with dry
compressed air.
Gear
NOTE
Do not loosen the screws on the gear head
during the warranty period. Failure to comply
with this requirement will invalidate any
claims under the manufacturer's warranty.
Repairs
Repairs may only be carried out by an au-
thorised customer service centre.

Replacement of wear parts
NOTE
The punch and the die are not regrindable.
If it becomes apparent that an increased
feed force is required in order to achieve
less work progress, this is an indication that
the punches and dies are worn out. These
must then be changed.
Changing the die
Keep the power tool horizontal.
Remove the battery.
Loosen the hollow nut with an Allen key (1.).
Use an Allen key if a hollow nut is stuck.
Remove the die and insert a new die (2.).
Tighten the hollow nut to 3 Nm.
Changing the die holder/punch
Die holder:
Keep the power tool horizontal.
Remove the battery.
Loosen the thumb wheel by min. three
revolutions (1.).
Pull out the die holder (2.).
Insert a new die holder into the housing.
Tighten the thumb wheel.
