Installation and operation
CAUTION *
Do not operate this pump
without personal protective
equipment. Pump can
generate noise levels above
85 dBa that could result in hearing loss.
Failure to comply could result in
personal injury.
WARNING
Do not exceed lowest pressure rating of
any component in system.
Failure to comply may result in death
or serious personal injury.
WARNING
Do not operate pump with broken,
missing or defective parts. Replace
defective parts prior to operation.
Failure to comply may result in death
or serious personal injury.

1)
Although the air motor is lubricated at the factory, the life of the motor can be extended with the use of a lubricator.
Bench test
NOTE
Perform the following procedures at a
pressure not to exceed 20 psi (1.4 bar).
With air pressure at zero:
1 Connect required air line components to
air motor (1).
2 Slowly supply air pressure to pump
motor.
3 Pump should cycle. If pump does not
cycle, refer to Troubleshooting, page 14
for details.
Priming
With air pressure at zero:
4 Connect product hose to material outlet.
5 Direct hose into an appropriate collection
container.
6 Place pump in grease.
7 Slowly supply air pressure to pump
motor.
8 Allow pump to cycle slowly until system
and grease is free of air.
9 If pump does not prime, refer to
Troubleshooting, page 14 for details.

Stall test
With air pressure at zero:
10 Attach a control valve to outlet hose of
11 Set air pressure to 100 psi (6.9 bar).
12 Operate control valve into a container.
13 Allow pump to cycle until system and
14 Shut off control valve.
15 Visually inspect pump for external leaks.
16 Pump should not cycle. If pump does not
