Before using any electrical device, carefully read the basic safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with physical, sen-
sory or mental disabilities, or by persons with a lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have received instruc-
tions regarding its safe use and understand the potential hazards as-
sociated with it.
• Children do not recognize the dangers associated with operating a
ceiling fan. Keep children away from ceiling fans.
• Do not expose the ceiling fan to rain or moisture. Do not operate the
ceiling fan outdoors or with wet hands.
• Use only CREATE replacement parts.
• To reduce the risk of bodily injury, attach the fan directly to the sup-
porting structure of the building following these instructions and use
only the supplied hardware.
• To avoid possible electrical shock, before installing the fan, discon-
nect power by turning off the circuit breakers at the outlet box and
the associated wall switch location. If you cannot lock the circuit
breakers in the off position, place a prominent notice, such as a tag,
on the service panel.
• To reduce the risk of bodily injury, do not bend the blade mounting
system when installing, balancing, or cleaning the fan. Never insert
foreign objects between the rotating fan blades.
• To reduce the risk of fire, or motor damage, do not use a solid state
speed control with this fan. Use only CREATE speed controls.
