5.2 Manual disinfection
1× daily after manual cleaning
• Make sure there is enough water in the pot in order to prevent damage/deformation.
• Boil the parts a–e and i in their dismantled state for 5 minutes.
• Allow the parts to cool down and dry on a clean surface.
Check the individual parts for cracks and changes to the surface according to the cleaning and disinfection process. If you
discover any changes, dispose of the part affected and replace with a new one.
The following parts must not be boiled: membrane cap (f), tubes (g), tube connector (h), carrying solution.
6. Application
6.1 Washing hands
Wash hands thoroughly with soap.
6.2 Placing the collection cup in the bra
Fasten the bra, but do not put the cups of the bra over the breast yet. Now place an assembled collection cup on the
breast. When doing so, position the nipple in the centre of the funnel. Then pull the bra cup over the collection cup.
Now do the same on the other side.
