4 Performing the backwash procedure
• Start the backwash procedure by pressing the ON/OFF button
on the controller.
The processing time for 5 ml is at least 10 minutes.
After backwashing, the controller switches off automatically. If there
is still some liquid in the funnel, start the backwash procedure
again.

Aerosol may still escape from the funnel opening of the
cleaning aid at the end of the backwash procedure. This is
normal. The controller can then also be switched off manually
by pressing the ON/OFF button.

• Connect the cleaning aid to the
controller.
To do this, attach the nebuliser con-
nector of the connection cord to the
hinge of the cleaning aid and swivel it
downwards so that the metal contacts
engage. Connect the other end of the
cord to the controller.
• Place the cleaning aid on a level
surface.
• Pour backwash liquid into the funnel
opening until it reaches the marking
(about 5 ml).
