INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Wireless foot controller (upon request only)
Warning
WiFi UNO is supplied with a disconnected battery due to unwanted battery drain during periods of transport and
storage. Putting into operation must be always done by authorized service technician.
The function of the buttons and the manner of control are identical with those of the cabled foot controller. The
difference is in the way of the data transfer between the controller and the dental unit. While with the classic foot
controller, the data transfer is made via a connected cable, with the wireless foot controller, the data transfer is carried
out by means of radio waves without the need for a cable.
Standard connection of the wireless foot controller with the cart unit
Transmitter is located inside of the foot controller and is charged by battery.
Receiver is connected to the cart unit and is powered directly.
Transmitter:
The foot controller is supplied from two accumulators NiMH 1,2V / 1800-2400 mAh.
Accumulators capacity is at least 2 month of standard operation. The need for charging is indicated on the
RECEIVER by regular flashing of the red LED diode or on the display by the symbol
After the moment of need for charging the accumulators has been indicated, it is still possible to work with the foot
controller for a few more hours without connection to the charging.
Charging of the foot controller:
The charging is activated by connecting the interconnecting cable between the unit and the foot controller.
During the charging it is still possible to use the WiFi foot controller – it functions as the classic cable foot controller.
The charging takes about 3 hours and is stopped automatically once the accumulator has been charged.
Completion of the charging is indicated on the display by the symbol
Тo ensure the correct function of the foot controller and the unit, it is
necessary to connect and disconnect the cable of the foot controller
while the unit is turned off.
Optionally it is possible to charge the foot controller either via standalone
outlet power charger. Ordercode of the power adapter is: ME374000.292.
