Types of Radio Calls
Your radio can make talkgroup, private, and enhanced private calls in conventional and/or trunking mode.
Call Type
Talkgroup Call
A Talkgroup Call is a point-to-multipoint
call operation. Your radio must be config-
ured as a member of the talkgroup for
you to communicate within the talkgroup.
Private Call
A Private Call is a call from one individual
radio to another.
Enhanced Private Call
This feature allows you to send a fol-
low up Call Alert Page immediately after
a private call to a target radio is unan-
swered.
Selective Call
A Selective Call is a call from an individ-
ual radio to another individual radio with
privacy.
Call Alert Page
Allows the radio to function like a pager,
or to verify if a radio is active on the sys-
tem.
