Direct Adjustment
Even if the menu screen does not appear, the following adjustment can be performed from the front
panel operation key.
AUTO SIZE
The following adjustment items are automatically performed for the signal input from the
computer by pressing the AUTO key.
The horizontal position adjustment, horizontat size adjustment, vertical position adjustment,
vertical size adjustment, vertical fine adjustment (DOT CLOCK), horizontal fine adjustment
(PHASE) and video level adjustment.
Effective adjustment can be performed if this function is used.
+ Always operate the unit after the computer has started. ..
* Display the entire screen in white when performing the adjustment.
For Windows: Select the tab of Appearance on the Display Properties and set the desktop
pattern to white.
For other computers: Set the pattern when the entire screen is white. (For details, read the
operation manual of the computer.)
* Do not use this function when the VGA350 mode and DOS
prompt mode are used because the
function will not operate correctly. Perform the adjustment manually.
«The auto size adjustment may not perform correctly depending on the input timing. If it is not,

perform the adjustments referring to page 15.
Do
not move the screen (a mouse cursor) during auto adjusting, because the adjustment will
not perform properly.
Always perform the adjustment with the screen standing still.
VOLUME
This adjustment is performed directly from the front panel operation key.

key is pressed, the volume is lowered.
key is pressed, the volume is raised.
CH) key is pressed, the volume is muted.
SIGNAL ERROR and NO SIGNAL (Monitor Self-Test)
This function indicates if the main unit is operating correctly.
Figure A or B is displayed if any of the four menu operation keys (1), Es, 9, i2]) are pressed.
1) Figure A is displayed when the input synchronization signal exceeds the specified range.
* The frequency is displayed in red when fH or fV exceed the specified range.
3) Figure B is displayed when there is no input signal.
For example, this occurs when the computer is not connected or the computer power is off.
