Operation
Caution! Risk of injury!
- Remove the battery before carrying out
any work on the device.
- Only use cutting/grinding discs and ac-
cessories recommended by the manufac-
turer. Using other attachment tools and
other accessories can represent a risk of
injury for you.
- Only use accessory parts which bear
information about the manufacturer, type
of connection, dimension and permitted
number of revolutions.
- Only use accessory parts where the
printed rotational speed is at least as
highaswhathasbeenspecifi edonthe
name plate of the device.
- Do not use any broken, cracked or
otherwise damaged diamond cutting/
grinding discs.
- Never operate the device without protec-
tive equipment.
- Support the plates or workpieces in or-
der to reduce the risk of kickback from a
jammed cutting disc. Large workpieces
maybendundertheirownweight.The
workpiece must be supported on both si-
des of the disc, not only near the cutting
disc, but also at the edge.
Keep your hands away from
the disc when the device is in
operation. Risk of injury.
Information on replacement:
- Never operate the device without protec-
tive equipment.
- Ensure that the rotation speed stated on
the tool is the same or higher than the
nominal idle speed of the device.

- Ensure that the tool dimensions match
those of the device.
- O nlyusefl awlessdiscs(ringingtest:
when you strike the grinding disc with
a plastic hammer, it results in a clear
sound).
- Never re-drill a locating hole which is
too small for the cutting/grinding disc to
make it larger.
- Never use separate bushings or adap-
ters in order to make cutting/grinding
discswithaholethatistoolargefi tthe
device.
- Do not use any saw blades.
- T oclampthegrindingtoolsonlyusethe
clampingfl angeprovided.Thepads
betweentheclampingfl angeandthe
grinding tools must be made of elastic
materials e.g., rubber, soft cardboard etc.
- Reassemble the device completely after
replacing the tool.
Switch off the device and remove
the battery from the device. Allow
the device to cool down.
Wear protective gloves when chan-
ging the tool so as to avoid injuries
from cuts.
Theclampingnutmustnotbescre-
wed too tightly so as to avoid brea-
king the disc and nut.
Inserting/removing the
rechargeable battery
1. Toinserttherechargeablebattery(5)
into the device, push the battery along
the guides into the device. You will
hear it click into place.
2. Toremovethebattery(5)fromthede-
vice, press the release button (4) on the
battery and pull the battery out.
