Problem
Cause
Pump has following problems:
failure to producepressure,
erratic pressure, chattering, Less
of pressure, low water volume.
Detergent fails to mix with spray.
Enginewill net start; starts and
tuns tough or shuts down during
operation.
Engine Lacks power.

Water inlet is blocked.
2.
Inadequatewater supply.
3.
Inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
4.
Clogged inlet hose strainer.
5.
Water supply is over 100%.
6.
High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
7.
Gun leaks.
8.
Spray tip is obstructed.
9.
Pump is faulty.
1.
Detergent siphoning tube is not
submerged.
2.
Detergent siphoning tube is
clogged or cracked.
3.
High pressure spray tip installed.
4.
Detergent siphoning check ball
stuck.
1.
Engine stop switch in off position
(OFFor 0).
2.
Dirty air cleaner.

Out of fuel.

Stale fuel.

Spark plug wire not connectedto

Correction
1.
Clear inlet.
2.
Provide adequatewater flow.
3.
Straighten inlet hose, patch leak.
4.
Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
5.
Provide cooler water supply.
6.
Clear blocks in high pressure hose or
replace hose.
7.
Replace gun.
8.
Cleanspray tip.
9.
Contact Sears service facility.
1.
Insert detergent siphoning tube into
detergent.
2.
Cleanor replacedetergent siphoning
tube.
3.
Replace high pressure spray tip with
black spray tip.
4.
Freedetergent siphoning check ball.
1.
Push engine stop switch to on position
(ONor I).
2.
Cleanor replaceair cleaner.
3.
Fill fuel tank.
4.
Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
5.
Connect wire to spark plug.
6.
Replace spark plug.
7.
Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
8.
Contact Sears service facility.
Replace air filter.
