d. Remove any adjusting tools or open-end wrenches before
plugging in the power tool. A tool or wrench placed in a rotating
part of the power tool can cause injury when starting.
e. Be cautious. Avoid adopting a position that fatigues your
body; keep a firm footing on the ground and keep your balan-
ce at all times. This will allow you to better control the power tool
in the event of an unexpected situation.
f. Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from mo-
ving parts.
g. Whenever it is possible to use suction or dust collection
equipment, make sure that they are mounted and that they
are used correctly. The use of dust collection equipment reduces
the risks from dust.
2.4 USE AND CARE OF POWER TOOLS
a. Do not overload the power tool. Use the right power tool
for each application. With the right power tool you can work bet-
ter and safer within the specified power range.
b. Do not use power tools with a faulty switch. Power tools
that cannot be switched on or off are dangerous and should be
repaired.
c. Disconnect the plug from the electrical source and/or the
battery from the power tool before making adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the power tool. This preven-
tive measure reduces the risk of accidentally connecting the power
tool.
d. Store power tools out of the reach of children and people
unfamiliar with their use. Power tools used by inexperienced
people are dangerous.
e. Take good care of your power tools. Check that the moving
parts of the power tool work properly, without binding, and
if there are any broken or deteriorated parts that could affect
the operation of the tool. If the power tool is faulty, have it
repaired before using it again. Many accidents are due to poorly
maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. Properly maintained cut-
ting tools are better guided and controlled.
g. Use power tool, accessories, tool fixtures etc. in accordan-
ce with these instructions, and take into account the working
conditions and the task to be performed. Using power tools for
jobs other than those for which they were designed can be dan-
gerous.
2.5 TECHNICAL SERVICE
a. Have your power tool repaired only by authorized technical
personnel using only original spare parts. This is the only way
to ensure the safety of the power tool.
2.6 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
The tool is double insulated; therefore it does not require
a ground connection. Always check that the mains volta-
ge corresponds to the value indicated on the nameplate.
WARNING! If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its representative,
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard. If the cable is replaced by a person similarly certified
but not authorized by the manufacturer, the guarantee will
not take effect.
