- CAUTION: always supervise the cooking process. A short
cooking process must be continuously monitored.
- WARNING: unsupervised cooking on a cooking hob with
grease or oil may be dangerous and cause a fire. Never try to
put out the fire with water, turn off the device and cover the
flame, for example, with a lid or a fireproof blanket.
- Unplug the cooking hob before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance task.
- This device complies with the electromagnetic safety
standards. However, people with pacemakers or other
implants such as insulin pumps should check with their
doctor or with the implant manufacturer before using this
device to make sure their implants will not be affected by the
electromagnetic field.
- Do not allow your body, clothes or any other object which
is not suitable cookware to come into contact with the
induction hob surface until the surface is cold.
- Keep children away from the device.
- The cookware handles may be hot to the touch after use.
Check the cookware handles do not overlap other cooking
areas that are on. Keep the handles out of the reach of
children. Failure to follow this advice may result in burns.
- The sharp blade of the hob scraper (not included) is exposed
when the safety cover is retracted. Use it with extreme care
and always store it safely and out of reach of children. Failure
to exercise caution may result in injury or cuts.
- Never leave the device unattended during use. Boiling causes
fumes and grease spills that can ignite.
- Do not place nor leave magnetised objects (e.g. credit cards,
memory cards) or electronic devices (e.g. computers, MP3
players) near the device as they may be affected by its
electromagnetic field.
