Do not connect to the same power supply as fluorescent tubes, welding sets, wire erosion machines or die sinking ma-
chines.

Use a separate electrical supply feeder for the setting bench.

If interference occurs, use an AC stabiliser or mains filter. Contact Hoffmann Group customer service.
1. Connect the light-current cable and power supply unit.
2. Insert the low-voltage plug into the socket on the outside of the housing. Plug in the monitor and tighten the screws.
3. Insert the mains plug into a mains socket.

MONITOR
1. Release the fixing screws.
2. Adjust the monitor inclination at the ball joint.
3. Switch on the unit and initialise it [} Page 40].
4. Adjust the screen position [} Page 48].

SCANNER
Standard product settings

Before first use, set up Honeywell scanner (art. no. 439930 1950GHD) once in combination with Setting Bench SB1.
1. Connect scanner with Setting Bench via USB connection.
2. Scan in "Standard product settings" barcode.

Scanner will be reset to factory settings.
3. Scan in "Serial USB" barcode.
»
Scanner settings are transmitted to the Setting Bench.
4. Switch to the System settings [} Page 47] menu.
5. Select "Print & Scan".
6. Select "Reset scanner" and follow the instructions on the screen.
