1- ELEMENTS ON THE MONITOR
A: This display gives a simultaneous read-out of
Speed, Distance, Time, Calories, Inclination and
Pulse rate.
B: This screen displays the lights that correspond
to the selected program (see the program graphs
on the right-hand side of the electronic console).
If you are in "Manual" mode then the first row
of lights will be lit, with more or less rows lighting
up depending on the effort that you exert.
C: This electronic unit has seven push-buttons:
START/STOP, ENTER, SELECT PROGRAM, SPEED
UP, SPEED DOWN, INCLINE UP and INCLINE
DOWN.
D: Safety key: To begin the exercise turn the key to
the position indicated.
E: Quick access speed keys: The monitor has six
quick access speed keys (marked E on the
diagram).
2- STARTING
Plug the unit into an earthed wall socket. The safety
key must be inserted into its slot (D on Fig. 1)
Otherwise the machine will not operate. Set the
main switch (L) to position "I" as shown in the
assembly manual. The screen will come on and the
letter "M» will appear on the display (B in Fig. 1)
indicating that the machine is ready for use in
manual mode.

ELECTRONIC UNIT
The monitor will switch itself off automatically if
the unit stands idle for more than 4 minutes.
Press any key to switch the monitor back on and the
electronics will start again. Start the unit by pressing
the START/STOP button (Position C in Fig. 1).
3- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
You can choose any of the nine pre-set programs (P1
to P9) included in manual mode, one of the user
defined profiles (U1 to U3) or the PULSE RATE program
(14) by pressing the SELECT PROGRAM key.
3.1- MANUAL MODE
With the machine stopped, press the SELECT PROGRAM
key until the screen shows the letter «M» along with the
corresponding profile lit up on the screen.
Press START/STOP, the unit will start up and begin
the exercise, lighting up the START light. This is a
free-style exercise mode during which the speed
(SPEED UP and SPEED DOWN) and the angle
(INCLINE UP and INCLINE DOWN) adapt to your
needs. A column of lights will flash depending on
how many minutes of exercise have elapsed.
If the START/STOP button is pressed then the unit
will stop and the readings on the displays will freeze.
If the START/STOP button is pressed again then the
selected exercise program will continue.
3.2- QUICK ACCESS KEYS
The monitor has six quick access speed keys for
speed settings (marked E on the Fig. 1). The said
keys allow you to select speeds of 1 km/h, 4 km/h,
7 km/h, 10 km/h, 13 km/h and 16 km/h directly,
without having to press the SPEED UP and SPEED
DOWN keys repeatedly.
