Error and Warning Messages
The messages appear in the pump display and warning beeps are heard. Beeps
indicating a warning or operating message are sounded several times.

sure is reduced

Method
Remove and re-insert tube set. If the
message reappears, insert a new tube
set.
Tube set detection indicates that the
tube set has been used already. Insert
new tube set.
Flow path is blocked. Check that bag
clamps and hysteroscope stopcock are
open. Make sure the tube set is not
blocked.
Replace tube set. The tube set does not
match the type approved for the Aquilex
System.
Pause/Resume button has been acti-
vated. Press Pause/Resume button again
to resume surgery.
Most commonly triggered when hystero-
scope stopcock is closed while pump is
operating at peak flow rate. Open hys-
teroscope stopcock or remove other clo-
sure to relieve pressure.
Pressure has exceeded the 200 mmHg
safety limit and must be reduced. The
most common cause is a closed hystero-
scope stopcock while the pump operates
at the highest flow rate.
Open inflow stopcock on hysteroscope or
remove blockage clamping off the inflow
tube set.
The message "Maximum Pressure" is
depicted when the intrauterine pressure
is greater than 150 mmHg.

cit control.
For a hysteroscopy, pressures above
100 mmHg are usually not necessary.
Careful monitoring of the fluid deficit is
recommended.
Check scale connection. Reconnect scale,
restart device. If the message reappears,
contact Hologic.
Make sure all tube sets are removed
from the roller wheel during the system
test. Remove tube set and wait until you
hear a warning beep and the message
"Insert Tube Set" appears.
Check bag clamp(s) and hysteroscope
inflow stopcock are open. Press the
"Prime" button to restart.

cian. If necessary, perform manual defi-
cit control.
