8.4 Lubricants

All RK Rose+Krieger products are delivered ex works with a basic lubrication. Subsequent
lubrication intervals are dependent on hours run, stresses and environmental factors (wide
temperature ranges, high relative humidity, aggressive environment, etc.).
The lubricants listed below will be used for production and installation of our linear components.
To achieve perfect running and long in-service life, we recommend the following products:

Lithium-saponified, high performance greases
Viscosity class according to DIN 51818: NLGI class 1, NLGI class 00
Labelling according to DIN 51825: KP2K-20

RK Rose + Krieger GmbH is not liable for the quality of the named lubricants or any quality
changes made by the lubricant manufacturer, as well as for changes in the variety denomination.
The user is obliged to inform themselves of the correct selection of lubricant for the specific
application, e.g. using data sheets from the lubricant manufacturer.
