General information
When using the Turbo Convection Oven, basic safety precautions should be observed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE TURBO
1. NEVER operate the oven without first placing it on the supplied base. Always
place the glass bowl onto the base before placing the lid with heating unit on the
bowl.
2. ALWAYS place the lid with heating unit onto the bowl before plugging in the
power cord and switching to ON.
3. NEVER place the lid on a chair, bench or anything other than a flat surface. Always
place the lid, resting the stainless-steel edge rim and the handle/plastic top on a
flat surface.
4. To protect against fire, electrical shock or injuries to persons, DO NOT immerse
power cord, plug or turbo convection oven lid in water or any other liquid.
5. ALWAYS operate this unit on a flat stable surface. Do not tilt the convection oven.
6. DO NOT move or lift the turbo convection oven while in use or the power cord is
still connected to the wall outlet. Remove the plug from the outlet, then remove
the lid by using the carry handle.
7. DO NOT use the turbo convection oven for other than intended use. Do not use
outdoors. For household use only.
8. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This turbo convection oven is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the convection oven by a person responsible for their
safety. Always make sure children cannot reach the product or any loose cables.
9. ALWAYS turn timer to OFF and remove the plug from the wall outlet before
removing the lid. Remove plug by grasping the plug, do not pull on the cord.
10. Remove lid by using carrying handle.
11. DO NOT use with an external timer.
12. DO NOT place the hot underside of the lid directly onto laminated, wood, paper
or plastic or other flammable surfaces. Put the lid on a heat resistant surface.
13. NEVER leave the turbo convection oven unattended while broiling or toasting.
14. Place one of the racks in the glass bowl before placing food inside. You may cook
directly on the rack, on foil or in an oven-safe container. You may use the other
rack on the countertop as a place to rest the lid.
15. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any
hot surface.
