4.1
Charging the battery
Warning!
Never expose the battery to extreme conditions such as too high temperatures or shocks.
Operator's injuries can be caused by leakage of battery electrolytic solution.
Warning!
Disconnect the battery from tool before charging.
•
Always make sure the battery is dry and clean before charging.
•
Make sure the battery is fully charged before using it for the first time.
•
The battery is not fully charged when you buy it. It must be recharged for 4-5 hours before first using it.
•
Recharge the battery when the indicator shows just one led light.
•
Do not leave the battery in charge for more than 5 hours. Do not make it become completely flat, otherwise its
life span will be reduced.
•
The battery must be replaced when its autonomy becomes too short. Just use the original batteries, supplied by
the Manufacturer.
•
Always comply with the safety instructions and the environment protection guidelines.

Battery charging procedure
•
Charge the battery indoor.
•
Make sure the battery switch is in OFF position before charging.
•
Properly connect the charger to the battery.
•
Make sure the specifications of the battery and the charger are the right ones before charging.
•
The red led on the charger indicates it is charging the battery, the green led indicates that the battery is fully
charged. The average charging time is 4-5 hours.
•
Disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged.
•
During periods of tool inactivity, store the battery fully charged and be sure to recharge it at least every 6
months.
4.4
Work area temperature
•
Recharging can be carried out only at a temperature between 0°C and + 45°C. The tool can be used only at a
temperature between -10°C and +60°C.
•
Keep the tool at a temperature between -5°C and +30°C when working

Initial assembly operations
Before starting assembly, please check that tying tool, cable and battery are clean and dry, then carry it out
according to the following steps:
•
Take the backpack out of plastic box
•
Check that the battery switch is in OFF position, then put the battery into the backpack and connect the tying
tool cable to thebattery. Screw it tightly.
