At the Baby Unit press once Search/Call Parent unit key (10) and hold for two
seconds. The Parent Unit will emit a tone. The tone can be switched off by
pressing any key on the parent unit or by pressing the Search/Call Parent unit
key (10) on the baby unit once again.

5.2.4 Night light

The baby unit has a night light (11) which gives off a soft light, providing comfort
for your baby and allowing you to see in a darkened room.
The night light is always lit when the baby unit is ON.
5.2.5 Zero Emission and Low Radiation Mode Switch
The baby unit is equipped with a special transmission technology called Zero
Emission. When the baby unit stays on stand-by and no noise or baby crying is
detected, it does not emit any radiation.
The radiation mode in the baby unit could be Low Radiation mode or Zero
Emission mode. To select the mode use the Mode (LOW/ZERO emission)
switch (12).
1) Zero Emission Mode
Setting:
Set the switch at the bottom of baby unit to "ZERO" position. After the units
(parent and baby) have powered up, the baby unit will send a confirmation
signal to parent unit. It is to initially set up a link between both units. The link
LED (Green colour) on parent unit (5) will light up then flash once every five
seconds to indicate that the baby unit is being located and the Zero Emission
Mode is set.
Operation:
For normal DECT operation, the baby side unit should send a beacon signal to
the parent side unit to confirm its existence. Because it is necessary to
guarantee that the base unit can immediately connect to the parent unit
whenever the baby cries, we use NEMo (No Emission MOde) feature to have
real no emission and still achieve an immediate reaction.
When the baby unit is on stand-by and no noise or baby crying is detected, it
does not transmit any radiation. When the unit detects any sound which is
higher than the sensitivity level (set by factory), it starts to transmit a signal to
the parent unit in order to establish digital communication. This may take up to
8 seconds. The zero emission feature is controlled by the bottom switch on the
baby unit (12).
