If your ice cream has already been stored in the freezer
for a while, you should let it thaw in the fridge or at
room temperature for about 10-30 minutes.
In general, post-cooling is recommended for fruit ice
cream or sorbet. To do so, put the ice cream into a
suitable airtight container and let it chill in the freezer
for at least 30 minutes.
Make sure that your ice cream mixture is no warmer
than room temperature when pouring it. In no case
should hot ice cream mixture be poured into the appli-
ance. You will receive optimal results at a temperature
of about 6-8 °C.
