Wet Scrubbing

Note: Bold numbers in parentheses indicate an item illustrated
on page 10.
1 Follow the instructions in the Preparing The Machine For Use
section of this manual.
2 Turn the Master Key Switch (11) ON. The green Power ON
Light (9) will light up.
3 Move the Squeegee Lever (4) to lower the squeegee and turn
on the vacuum system.
4 Turn the Brush Switch (10) ON to lower the brushes.
5 Turn the Solution Switch (7) ON. The blue Solution ON Light
(5) will light up. Pull the Solution Lever (8) up about half way.
6 When the Twist Grips are in the neutral position, the brushes
do not run and solution is not dispensed. Rotate the Twist Grips
(6) forward to start the brush motor and the solution, and to
move the machine forward. For best results, move the ma-
chine at a slow walking speed. Turn the Solution Switch (7) to
the MOMENTARILY OFF position while making sharp turns.
Rotate the Twist Grips backward to move the machine in
reverse. The brushes will run while moving the machine in
reverse, but solution will not be dispensed.
7 Adjust the Solution Flow Control Lever (8) so a thin, even layer
of solution can be seen in front of the Squeegee (13).
8 The recovery tank has an automatic float shut-off to block the
vacuum system when the recovery tank is full. You can tell
when the float closes by the sudden change in the sound of the
vacuum motor. When the float closes, the recovery tank must
be emptied. The machine will not pick up water with the float
closed.
9 When the recovery tank is full, turn the Solution Switch (7) OFF,
raise the squeegee and the brushes (or pads), and move the
machine to a service area. To empty the recovery tank, take
the Recovery Drain Hose (16) off its hanger. Direct the hose
to a floor drain or bucket and remove the plug.

1 Seguir atentamente las instrucciones del apartado Preparación
de la máquina para su uso, de este mismo manual.
2 Girar el interruptor general (11) a la posición ON. Se encenderá
la luz verde (9).
3 Mover la palanca de la boquilla de aspiración (4) hacia la
izquierda. Lo cual bajará la boquilla de aspiración y pondrá en
marcha el motor de aspiración.
4 Girar el interruptor del cepillo (10) a la posición ON para bajar
los cepillos.
5 Encender el interruptor de control del flujo de agua (7), llevándolo
a la posición ON. Se encenderá la luz azul (5). Tirar de la
palanca de control del flujo de agua (8) hasta dejarla a la mitad
de su recorrido.
6 Cuando las empuñaduras giratorias están en la posición
neutra, los cepillos no giran y no se reparte la solución. Girar
las empuñaduras (6) hacia adelante para poder poner en
marcha los cepillos y repartir la solución, al mismos tiempo que
mover la máquina hacia adelante. Para conseguir los mejores
resultados, desplazar la máquina a velocidad lenta de paseo.
Girar el interruptor de control de agua limpia (7) hacia la
posición MOMENTÁNEAMENTE OFF mientras realiza giros
rápidos. Girar las empuñaduras hacia atrás para mover la
máquina hacia atrás. Los cepillos trabajaran mientras la
máquina se mueva, pero la solución no será repartida.
7 Ajustar la palanca de control del flujo de la solución (8), hasta
que se vea una película fina y uniforme de líquido delante de
la boquilla de aspiración (13).
8 El depósito de recogida dispone de un sistema automático de
desconexión mediante una boya flotante, que impide que la
solución penetre en el sistema de aspiración cuando el depósito
de recogida está lleno. Podemos saber cuando la boya está
cerrada por el cambio súbito del sonido del motor de aspiración.
Cuando la boya se cierra, hay que vaciar el depósito de
recogida: la máquina no absorberá más agua mientras la
boya permanezca cerrada.
9 Cuando el depósito de recogida esté lleno, apagar el interruptor
de control de la solución (7), levantar la boquilla y los cepillos
(o discos abrasivos) y trasladar la máquina a una área adecuada.
Para vaciar el depósito de recogida, sacar la manguera de
vaciado (16), dirigirla sobre un cubo o desagüe y quitar el
tapón.
