11. TROUBLESHOOTING
The main burner pilot does
not work
The pilot's flame is not
retained
The main burners do not
work.
Main burners burn yellow
Wrong bowl temperature
No spark on the pilot
12. REPLACEMENT OF BASIC COMPONENTS
Main components of the fryer can be replaced after removal of the panel, the front beam and opening the
door. All operations must be performed by qualified technicians. Before beginning work, close the gas supply to
the unit and disconnect the power supply. Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
a. Gas thermostatic valve
• unscrew the copper tube with a diameter of 12mm from the mixer or elbow
• unscrew the copper tube with a diameter of 6mm from the burner pilot, key 10
• unscrew the safety thermocouple, key 9
• remove the valve sensor from the socket
• unscrew the gas valve from the bracket
• screw in the new valve, reverse the other steps
DANGER: After replacing the thermostatic valve, the capillary must be inserted into the socket at
a depth of 120mm
b. Safety thermocouple
• remove the high voltage cable from the electrode
• unscrew the pilot from the combustion chamber housing
• unscrew the electrode
• replace the electrode, reverse the other steps
DANGER: After replacing the safety thermostat, the capillary must be inserted into the socket all
the way
c. Electrode
• remove the high voltage cable from the electrode
• unscrew the pilot from the combustion chamber housing
• unscrew the electrode
• replace the electrode, reverse the other steps
d. Safety thermostat
• remove the safety thermostat detector from the socket in the tank
• disconnect electrical wires from the thermostat
• replace the thermostat, reverse the other steps
e. Ignition switch
• disconnect electrical wires from the ignition switch
• remove the switch from the front panel
• Gas pressure is too low
• The pilot nozzle is clogged.
• The gas valve is defective.
• Safety thermostat was triggered.
• Broken thermocouple or insufficiently heated by the pilot flame.
• Safety thermostat was triggered.
• Gas pressure is too low
• Main burner nozzles are clogged
• The gas valve is defective..
• Wrong amount of air supplied to the main burners - requires ad-
justment of the sleeve at the main burner nozzle
• Soiled main burners - holes
• Incorrect placement of the thermostat regulator sensor.
• The gas valve is defective.
• Incorrect placement of ignition electrode in pilot group.
• Detachment of ignition cable connecting spark generator to ignition
electrode. Check the wiring connections.
• Spark generator is defective.
• Electrical supply cord is defective or unit is not connected to the
mains
