3) Apply three layers of carbon fibre woven prepreg (e.g. 15 cm x 15 cm)
offset to each other on the distal socket end.
4) Apply a layer of peel ply to the entire model.
5) Apply a layer of woven absorbent fabric to the entire model.
6) Soak a PVA bag and pull it over the model.
7) Bake the model in the oven under vacuum.
8) Remove the PVA bag, absorbent fabric and peel ply.
9) Seal the threads on the underside of the carbon socket attachment block
with Plastaband (see fig. 2).
10) Position the socket attachment block on the socket end as required for
proper alignment and secure it with a mix of sealing resin and talcum.
11) Sand the hardened mix of sealing resin and talcum to shape the socket
(see fig. 3).
12) Clean the prosthetic socket with a degreasing cleaning agent and
remove dust.
13) Apply isolation wax to the threads at the top of the socket attachment
block (see fig. 4).
14) Set the lamination dummy on the socket attachment block (see fig. 5).
15) Fill the edges between the socket attachment block and the lamination
dummy with carbon fibre prepreg (see fig. 6).
16) Apply a layer of carbon fibre woven prepreg to the entire model and the
socket attachment block (see fig. 7).
17) Apply a thread of carbon fibre prepreg in a circle around the base of the
socket attachment block and pull it tight (see fig. 8).
18) Apply a layer of carbon fibre woven prepreg (width: 5 cm) in a circle
around the base of the socket attachment block so that the ends overlap
by 4 cm (see fig. 9).
19) Apply medial and lateral reinforcement of carbon fibre prepreg to the
prosthetic socket according to the weight and mobility grade of the
patient.
20) For TF prostheses, reinforce the prosthetic socket with carbon fibre
prepreg on the ischial tuberosity according to the weight and mobility
grade of the patient.
21) Apply two layers of carbon fibre woven prepreg to the entire model and
the socket attachment block (see fig. 10).
22) Apply a layer of peel ply to the entire model (see fig. 11).
23) Apply a layer of woven absorbent fabric to the entire model.
24) Soak a PVA bag and pull it over the model.
25) Bake the model in the oven under vacuum.
