13. Maintenance
Risk of injury:
Prior to all maintenance and
cleaning work and before transport
or immobilisation, it is essential to
remove the ignition key and put it in
a safe place, in order to prevent
inadvertent starting of the engine.
Risk of injury:
Always wear gloves. Never touch
the mowing blade before it has
come to a standstill.
Always allow the engine and
muffler to cool before carrying out
maintenance and cleaning work.
Before all maintenance and repair
work, carefully read and observe
the section "For your safety" and
especially the subsection
"Maintenance and repairs". (

Risk of injury:
For safety reasons, maintenance
operations on the brakes are not
permitted.
Only allow adjustment and
maintenance operations to be
performed by a specialist dealer.

General maintenance instructions:

– The maintenance schedule and
maintenance intervals must be strictly
observed.
– In addition to the maintenance schedule
provided in this instruction manual, the
maintenance schedule and
maintenance operations contained in
the engine instruction manual must also
be observed.
The following maintenance and repair
work can be found in the engine
instruction manual:
– Replacing the air filter.
– Information on engine oil (type, oil
capacity, etc.).
– Checking and replacing the spark plug.
– Changing the fuel filter.
– Cleaning the engine.

are observed prior to all maintenance,
repair and cleaning work:
– Park the machine on level and solid
ground.
– Stop the engine. (

13.1 Maintenance schedule

All the instructions in the maintenance
schedule must be strictly observed.
Non-observance of the maintenance plan
can lead to significant damage to the
machine.
Maintenance operations prior to initial
use:
In order to achieve more efficient and safer
operation and to prevent faults, it is
important to be familiar with the condition
