11- Using the 2 M 6x16 Allen screws provided in the kit, fix the control handle
support to the post of the analogue inflation unit (see Fig. B/7).
12- Fit the handle onto the support (see Fig. B/8).
13- Close the tyre changer's left-hand side panel.
14 - Reconnect the tyre changer to its power sources.
15- Check that the device is operating correctly by proceeding as follows:
- take hold of the control handle with both hands, point it towards the ground
and press the 2 buttons (1, Fig. B/8) at the same time: NO air must come out.
- position the handle on the top edge of rim so that the valve on the end of the
nozzle is pressed against the rim, and press the 2 buttons (1, Fig. B/8) at the
same time: a powerful air jet must be emitted.
WARNING!
The control handle must be gripped firmly with both
hands.
NEVER point it at people or objects.
NOTE: If the tyre changer is fitted with the bead lifter/presser device, the con-
trol handle support has to be fitted on the post of this device, using the spacer
supplied in the kit:
- fix the spacer (1, Fig. B/9) onto the post of the bead lifter/presser device
using the 2 M 8x30 hexagonal head screws supplied in the kit.
- fix the handle support (2, Fig. B/9) to the spacer using the 2 M 6x16 Allen
screws supplied in the kit.
- Fit the control handle on the support.
The TIX device has been developed to simplify bead insertion and then inflation of the tyre.
When operating on very soft tyres, or tyres which have been stored horizontal for a long period of time, bead insertion and inflation may
be very difficult because the air directed into the tubeless tyre comes straight out again due to the failure to achieve a seal between
the rim and the tyre.
By emitting a powerful air jet in a very short time, the TIX device generates a series of forces inside the tyre which help rapid insertion
of the bead onto the rim.
The device is operated by hand by means of two buttons with safety valve, to ensure that its accidental or improper use is impos-
sible.

Tyre inflation is dangerous.
