Fig. 17: Bleed valve
Installation and operating instructions SIE - DIE
• The bleed valve (Fig. 17, Item 1) must always be facing upward.
1
• Every installation position except for "motor facing down" is allowed.
• The electronic module may not face downward. If needed, the motor
can be turned after loosening the hexagon head bolts.
NOTE
After loosening the hexagon head bolts, the differential pressure sen-
sor is only attached to the pressure measuring lines. When turning the
motor housing, make sure that the pressure measuring lines are not
bent or kinked.
• The direction of flow must correspond with the direction arrow on the
pump housing flange.
NOTE
When pumping out of a tank, it must be made sure that the liquid level
above the suction port of the pump is always sufficient so that the
pump never runs dry. The minimum intake pressure must be main-
tained.
• When using the pump in air-conditioning or cooling systems, the
condensate which accumulates in the lantern can be specifically dis-
charged via the existing drilling holes.
NOTE
In the case of insulated systems, only the pump housing may be insu-
lated, not the lantern and motor.
