Press lightly on the pressure indicator
stem until no more steam escapes.
Cool the rim of the cooker under tepid
running water (but wet the rim only
to prevent water from being sucked into
the cooker).
Lift the valve cap slightly and rotate
by 75° until it engages the first time
(stage 1).
Lift the valve cap slightly and rotate
by 90° until it engages the second time
(stage 2).
