CAUTION!
Please note the following points in order to be able to maintain the
protection afforded by the child safety seat:
The child safety seat may be damaged after an accident with an impact
speed of more than 10 km/h. It must be inspected by the manufacturer
and replaced, if necessary.
You must ensure that the child safety seat is not damaged by being
squeezed between hard items (car door, seat rails etc.)
Regularly check all working parts for damage. Ensure that all the
mechanical components are in perfect working order.
The child safety seat must be checked by the manufacture if it is
damaged (e.g. following a crash).

Fitting and removing the child safety seat
Before mounting the child safety seat, this should be brought to the sitting
position (see 7).
a) Fastening with ISOFIX:
The guides [A.1] simplify fitting ISOFIX in some cars and avoid damaging the
seat.
Where necessary, you should clip both guides on to both ISOFIX anchorage
points on the car seat, between the seat squab and the backrest. The
recesses of the guide must be visible from above. There must be a clearly
audible "click".
If they are not used, the guides [A.1] should be removed and stored in a safe
place. In vehicles with folding backrests, the guides must be removed before
folding.
After adjusting the child safety seat shoulder belts (see 5.1), secure it to the
ISOFIX as follows:
- Press the green locking knob [B.2] and the red slide [B.3] against each other
on both sides and remove the mount shield [B.4].
- Using the grip provided for this purpose [C.5], pull both mounts [C.6] out
until they lock in place.
The locks in the mount [D] must be open on both mounts. To open, press the
green locking knob [B.2] and the red slide [B.3] against each other.
12
- Position both mounts [E.6] right in front of both guides.
- Lock the mount on one side. There must be a clearly audible "click" and the
green locking knob [E.2] must be visible.
- Lock the mount on the other side. Here, there must also be a clearly audible
"click" and the green locking knob [E.2] must be visible.
- Turn the green lever [F.7] downwards and push the child safety seat
towards the backrest of the vehicle.
- Push the child safety seat firmly and evenly on both sides towards the
backrest [F] of the vehicle.
- Check that the child safety seat is fitted correctly by pulling on each side.
- To remove the ISOFIX mount (removal), press the green locking knob [G.2]
and the red slide [G.3] against each other. The mount releases itself. Repeat
the same procedure on the other side of the child safety seat.
b) Fastening with a three-point belt (universal):
After adjusting the child safety seat shoulder belts (see 5.1), secure it to the
three-point belt of the vehicle as follows:
- Place the child safety seat on the vehicle seat.
- Pull out the belt and route through the belt guides [H].
- Lock the locking piece into the belt buckle [I].
- Swivel the clamping lever [K.8] from below and insert the diagonal belt into
the belt clamp [K.9].
- Apply a load to the child safety seat using your body (place your knee in the
seat) and pull the diagonal belt of the vehicle strongly for tightening it.
Swivel the clamping lever [K.8] upwards until it engages.
CAUTION!
Do not use the clamping lever of the child safety seat on the side
where the vehicle belt buckel is located [I].
Beware!
For protecting the car seat covers, the mount shield [B.4] should be
mounted when fitting the child safety seat with a three-point belt.
