Checklist -correct fitting-
CAUTION!
Incorrect fitting of the child safety seat can endanger the health, or put
at risk, the lives, of all occupants of the vehicle. For this reason, carry
out the following checks for your child's safety and that of the other
occupants of the vehicle carefully.
a) Fastening with ISOFIX:
To ensure your child's safety, check that
- the child safety seat is mounted firmly in the backrest of the vehicle,
- that the ISOFIX mount is locked on both sides and that the green locking
knobs are visible.
b) Fastening with a three-point belt (universal):
To ensure your child's safety, check that
- the child safety seat is mounted firmly in the backrest of the vehicle,
- the belts are tightened and not twisted,
- that the locking piece is locked into the belt buckle of the vehicles three-
point belt,
- that the locking piece and car seatbelt buckle are not in the belt guide of the

Child safety
CAUTION!
Only let your child get in and out on the near side.
When using the child car seat on the rear seat of the vehicle, move the
front seat forward so that your child does not bang his or her feet on
the backrest (danger of injury).

Adjusting the shoulder belts
Before mounting the child safety seat in the car, ensure that the shoulder
belts are adjusted correctly for your child. The shoulder belts must be set at
the level of, or slightly above, the child's shoulders.
If necessary, position the shoulder belts as follows:
- Press the adjustment knob [L.10] and simultaneously route the shoulder
belt [L.11] forwards. Do not pull on the shoulder padding [L.12] in doing so.
- Press down on the button on the rear of the seat shell [M.13] and tip the belt
height adjuster [M.14] forward.
- Select the correct shoulder belt height by moving the belt height adjuster
[M.14] up or down and let it engage in the housings on the rear of the seat
shell.
CAUTION!
The belt height adjuster must click securely into place in the housings
on the rear of the seat.
