Getting started - up to 100 Fronius IG Plus and Froni-
us CL inverters via an RS 422 interface

General

The following steps must be carried out in order to be able to use the interface protocol:

Important For this system version, the interface protocol can only be used with control
board software version 4.22.00 and higher (USA - 4.15.00).

Only for Fronius IG Plus: check the control board software version number for each
inverter
Assign a separate inverter number to each inverter
Activate the interface protocol for each inverter
Connect inverters using a patch cable
Connect the photovoltaic system to a 3rd party device (PC, converter, etc.) using the
patch cable
Insert the terminating plug into the last free 'IN' socket
Set the baud rate
