8.2 EXTENDED MENU 1
The control unit is factory set to allow direct selection exclusively of the main
menu functions. If you wish to enable the functions described in Extended
Menu 1, proceed as follows:
• Select blinking LEV LED;
• press SET once;
•
The LED will start blinking (alternate flashing of LEV LED
);
In this way you have access to the setting of the following functions:

There will be 30 seconds to select the functions of the Extended Menu
1 using the SELECT and SET keys; once an additional 30 seconds have
elapsed the control unit reverts to the main menu.
8.2.1 LED L1 - PGM CODE: Remote control programming:
The control unit allows the programming of the transmission code, without
directly interfering on the control unit, acting on the SELECT button, but
carrying out the operation "by remote control", however, in proximity of
the remote control.
• To programme the Remote control, proceed as follows:
• send continuously for a period longer than 10 seconds, the Step-by-
Step code of a previously programmed remote control;
• the control unit thus enters programming mode as described in the main
menu (see sec. 7.1.3).
If a previously programmed pedestrian code is sent in a continuous manner,
the control unit will start programming a new pedestrian code and LED L2
will flash as if a new pedestrian code is being acquired (1 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 0).
8.2.2. LED L2 - PHOTOCELL TEST:
The control unit is supplied by the manufacturer with the photocell tests
disabled (see para. 6.2.7.).
To enable these tests, proceed as follows:
• Ensure that you have enabled the Extended Menu 1 (highlighted by the
flashing 1 0 1 0 1 of the LED LEV);
• Position yourself with the SELECT button on the flashing light of LED L1;
• Press the SET button;
• LED L1 will turn on in a fixed manner and the programming will be
completed.
Repeat the operation if you want to restore the previous configuration.
8.2.3 LED L3 - STEP BY STEP 1:
Proceed as follows if you wish to enable the function "Step-by-step 1" (see
section 6.2.3):
• Ensure that you have enabled the Extended Menu 1 (highlighted by the
flashing 1 0 1 0 1 0 of the LED LEV);
• Position yourself with the SELECT button on the flashing light of LED L3;
• Press the SET button;
• LED L3 will turn on in a fixed manner and the programming will be
completed.
Repeat the operation if you want to restore the previous configuration.

Important note: the Step-by-Step 1 function overwrites the standard
Step-by-Step and can be enabled only if the "Step-by-Step" is enabled
with a saved "Pause time" period.
8.2.4 LED L4 - DOOR DELAY:
The control unit is supplied by the manufacturer with a door opening and
closure delay (4 sec.). If used in the configuration for 2-motor automation, it
may be necessary to insert a different delay time for the doors; programming
must occur with the shutter closed, as follows:
• Ensure that you have enabled the Extended Menu 1 (highlighted by the
flashing 1 0 1 0 1 0 of the LED LEV);
• Position yourself with the SELECT button on the flashing light of LED L4;
• Press the SET button;
• Wait for a period equal to the desired period (max. 15 s);
• Briefly press the SET key again to save the fixed door opening delay as
OFF
4 seconds, the closing door delay for the programmed time and LED
L4 will remain lit (fixed).

STANDARD STEP-BY-STEP
• To disable this function (without door delay), position yourself with on
the flashing light of LED L4, then press the SET key twice consecutively
OFF
within a period of 2 seconds, at the same time the LED will turn off and

the operation will be complete.

8.2.5 LED L5 - RELEASE STROKE (in opening phase):

The control unit is supplied by factory with the release stroke function
disabled. This function consists of sending a closing command for 2
seconds before starting the opening stroke: in this way the release of
1 FLASH
the lock is facilitated to allow the correct execution of the opening phase.
Proceed as follows if you wish to enable the function:
• Make sure you have enabled the extended Menu 1 (as shown by the
alternate flashing 1 0 1 0 1 of LEV LED);
• By the key SELECT, position yourself on the blinking LED L5;
• Press the SET key;
• LED L5 becomes steady on and programming will be completed.
If you wish to enable the function at the power level set by the SPEED
trimmer, repeat the above mention programming, by pressing SELECT
twice (obtaining fast flashing of LED L5 instead of once) and then press
SET.
Repeat the procedure if you wish to restore the previous configuration.
8.2.6 LED L6 - SLAM LOCK: (in closing phase):
The control unit is supplied by factory with the Slam lock function disabled.
This function consists in adding (in case there is a deceleration in closing)
a time of 1 second, at maximum power, or at the selected power through
the trimmer SPEED, in order to overcome any lock installed. To enable
the function of Hammering Closing at maximum power, proceed in the
following manner:
• Make sure you have enabled the extended Menu 1 (as shown by the
alternate flashing 1 0 1 0 1 of LEV LED);
• By the key SELECT, position yourself on the blinking LED L6; · Press the
SET key;
• LED L6 becomes steady on and programming will be completed.
If you wish to enable the function at the power level set by the SPEED
trimmer, repeat the above mention programming, by pressing SELECT
twice (obtaining fast flashing of LED L6 instead of once) and then press SET.
Repeat the procedure if you wish to restore the previous configuration.
8.2.7 LED L7 - PREFLASHING / COURTESY LIGHT
The control unit is supplied by the factory with the pre-flashing and courtesy
light functions turned off.
Pre-flashing operation: Flashing light output 24 ~ 4W max. it will always
activate 3 seconds before the closing phase.
Proceed as follows if you wish to enable the function:
• Make sure you have enabled the extended Menu 1 (as shown by the
alternate flashing 1 0 1 0 1 of LEV LED);
• By the key SELECT, position yourself on the blinking LED L7; Press the
SET key;
• LED L7 becomes steady on and programming will be completed.
Courtesy Light operation: The 24 V 4W max. Courtesy Light output will
switch on for 3 minutes whenever an opening command is transmitted.
If you wish to enable the Courtesy light function repeat the above mention
