Use
The buggy board (see fig. 35) allows children to ride safely while standing on their own feet, has spring loaded
casters and offers sufficient standing room. It is attached to the back frame and can be folded up or detached
using the quick-disconnect units.

6.4.4 Canopy

CAUTION
Incorrect use of the canopy
Falling, tipping of the user due to uncontrolled rolling away
► An unfolded canopy is a large surface that can be caught by the wind. Close the canopy every time you park
the rehab buggy. Never leave the user unattended.
NOTICE
Improper use of the canopy
Damage to the fabric due to user error
► Always remove the canopy before folding the rehab buggy so that it does not get folded up as well.
► Remove the canopy from the rehab buggy if it is stored for a long period to protect it from damage.
The rehab buggy can be equipped with a canopy to protect the user from sun or rain.
Mounting the canopy
1) Move the back support to an upright position.
2) Attach the canopy to the push handles with the provided snap-in clips (see fig. 36).
3) Pull the canopy over the back support and close the hook-and-loop closures around the sides of the push
handles.
4) In case of rain, pull the supplied transparent rain cover over the canopy and down over the foot support (see
fig. 37). The push handles remain uncovered.
Removing the canopy
1) Move the back support to an upright position.
2) Open the hook-and-loop closures of the canopy on the sides around the push handles.
3) Remove the snap-in clips from the push handles.
4) Remove the canopy.
