7 - DAN EUROPE COMPLIANCE
A set of criteria come into play to determine which TRIBORD buoyancy compensator suits you
best.
TRIBORD Subea 100 and Subea 500 diving buoyancy compensators are of the «enveloping»
kind. The volume of air is distributed over the entire surface of the body "enveloped", which
provides significant buoyancy.
The diving compensator has a double function: on the one hand, to adjust the buoyancy of
the diver while diving according to the depth and allow him/her to control their ascent to the
surface, and on the other, to support the diving cylinder(s) attached to the diver's back. The
diving buoyancy compensator also has other benefits for the diver. The diving compensator can
be used to support a variety of accessories (lamps, tables, parachutes etc). Slightly inflated,
the diving BC greatly facilitates putting on or taking off equipment on the surface. Their simple
design is a real asset.
The Subea 100 Buoyancy Compensator is the perfect BC for beginners, diving clubs, for hire
or for those who are simply looking for quality equipment. New ergonomic pocket design.
Comfortable backpack. Colour codes for sizes.
The Subea 500 Buoyancy Compensator is the ideal BC for regular divers, very comfortable
on the surface and when horizontal on the bottom; reduced risk of snagging. New ergonomic
pocket design. Comfortable backpack. This diving buoyancy compensator has expandable ballast
pockets allowing you to put in up to 6 kilos of lead (in a total of two pockets). As their name
indicates, they can be expanded by the diver for safety purposes.
Both products incorporate the Decathlon patented feature, a specific unisex ergonomic strap
(see paragraph 3.3).
