PLEASE NOTE: Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure to chlorinated water, such
as in swimming pools. Immediately wash your buoyancy compensator after use in
chlorinated water. Chlorinated water can damage the fabrics and materials that make
up your buoyancy compensator, so reducing its life and tarnishing its colours. Damage
and fading caused by prolonged exposure to chlorinated water are specifically excluded
from the warranty.
5 - STORAGE
When not in use, store your buoyancy compensator dry and slightly inflated in a cool, dark, dry
place, avoiding excessive heat. Ultraviolet rays shorten the life of the material and cause the
colours to fade.
Î Rinse the inside of the inflatable chamber with clean water before prolonged storage.
Do not store heavy items on the BC.
For the Subea 500 model: Place the protective cap on the inflator DS.
The shelf life is 5 years for a new buoyancy compensator, unused, when deflated and stored in
an airtight container or bag at normal room temperature, without UV exposure.
6 - GUARANTEE
TRIBORD products are guaranteed for two (2) years from purchase and two (2) years from
discovery of the fault for the legal guarantee against hidden defects (according to the specific
legalities applicable in each country).
Our products are made for sports use, not professional.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by impacts or following incorrect use.
The guarantee does not cover faults caused by normal wear and tear and ageing.
Any delays caused by repair or replacement of parts during the guarantee period does not give
rise to an extension of the guarantee period.
In the case of a defect, the product should be returned in its original packaging if possible to
the supplier from whom it was purchased with the warranty certificate and/or proof of purchase.
Liability arising from the sale of our products is exclusively limited to the above warranty and
excludes the possibility of resorting to sanctions or damages.
