1 - INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of this product from the TRIBORD brand.
TRIBORD buoyancy compensators have been tested and certified to meet standard EN 1809:
1997.
Accreditation tests have been carried out by the laboratory:

1.1 Hazard warnings

This document details the hazard levels and following information:
DANGER
Direct and imminent danger
May result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
Potential risks
May result in serious injury or significant material damage.
PLEASE NOTE
Potential risks
May result in minor injury or material damage.
NOTICE
Recommendation or instruction
Information or action required to ensure the durability of the product.
Any repairs must be carried out by an authorised TRIBORD service centre using only original
spare parts.
Routine maintenance operations described in this manual can be carried out by the user, who
must follow the procedures given carefully.
The owner is held responsible for any malfunction of the buoyancy compensator if it has not been
checked and serviced by an authorised TRIBORD service centre, or if the BC has been used
for purposes other than for recreational diving, or if repairs and maintenance are not carried out
using original spare parts.
TRIBORD disclaims any liability for damage if the above conditions are not met.
WARNING: This document is not a scuba diving manual. Before using the BC or any
other diving equipment, you need to get training and certification from a certified diving
instructor. The use of diving equipment by persons who are not in possession of a diving
licence can result in serious injury or death.
Maximum depth of use: 50 metres.
